Workshops

C2Y offers authentic experiential training workshops for community service providers or parents. Through a facilitated and interactive scenario forum, Connect to Youth Trainers help enhance communication skills (between parents & youth or staff and youth), build better service teams, and create stronger client relationships. Who better than system-experienced youth to help fill in the knowledge gap for social service providers?

Services include:

    * A pre-workshop phone consultation to assess your organization’s current client/provider communication needs and goals.
    * A customized 2-3 hour authentic learning experience that brings together system-experienced youth (C2Y Trainers) with social service providers.
    * A workshop that addresses multiple learning styles with an emphasis on facilitated interactive scenario-based exercises between youth trainers and service providers.
    * Adult education techniques designed to explore practical options to enhance client/provider communications.
    * Built-in opportunities for coaching, ‘check-ins’, debriefing, self-reflection and feedback from youth trainers.
    * A safe non-threatening environment with small groups of learners organized to minimize ‘performance’ anxiety and maximize discovery and practice.
   * We have unique workshops that have been designed specifically with parents in mind.  The structure and content is significantly different. If you interested workshops for parents please contact us to discuss the details.
